The Ivorian government has a streamlined process for obtaining an electronic visa (also called a biometric visa on arrival) for Côte d’Ivoire. Eligible travelers from over 120 countries can apply for the tourist E-visa through an expedited electronic application program, 5 days in advance of their intended travel date. The E-visa allows for stays of up to 90 days and covers most reasons for travel, including tourism, family visits, business, medical, or study. The only activity prohibited under the E-visa is working in the country.
